About this activity
Day 1: After your landing in NAIA airport, your driver will be waiting for you at the arrival terminal to take you to your Hotel and have a relaxing day or night near the Manila Bay.
Day 2: In the morning, you will visit Intramuros, the old Manila before hitting the road to go to Pampanga.
Day 3: Next day will be the first adventure: trekking to the crater of Mt. Pinatubo. For a start you will be taking a 4x4 jeep to get to the starting point and from there you will need to walk 7km, depending on the season, you might have to cross the river a few times to reach the crater, dont worry it will be easy and worth it ;) . Picnic lunch will be provided. After your trekking adventure we will head to Baguio, the summer capital of the Philippines.
Day 4: After breakfast, you will visit the Market of Baguio and then head to Sagada, a town in the Cordillera mountains.
Day 5: you will hike and see the Echo valley's century old hanging coffins as well as caves. After Sagada we will be heading to Banaue. On the way, you will stop by Bontoc to visit its museum run by the nuns and see the replica of an old traditional village and Ifugao artifacts. You will reach Banaue in the late afternoon where you will be staying in a comfortable hotel, with the view rice terraces that was build around 2000 years ago by the ancestors of indigenous people.
Day 6: The following day be ready for another big adventure, we will be walking 3-4 hours from Bangaan, an old village to reach another village and walk in the huge rice terraces of Batad, Batad is a remote village of about 1500 people in Ifugao province, said to home of the best and well preserved rice terraces in the cordillera province. You will be staying there for one night to feel, learn and understand the culture in the village.
Day 7: it's time to leave the mountains and head back to Manila or Clark.
