We did a bike tour in a few other places we have visited over the years, but this may be one of the best! I always think it is a great way to see any new city, especially when time is short. You are able to pack so much in and take both the small side streets and main roads along the way. To motorized bikes are quite zippy and made it easy to keep up and move easily up hills. We covered some great territories stopping frequently to take in main sites and some off-the-beaten-path spots only a local would know. We took in great views of the coast, the city center and harbor, and stopped at the big cathedral with wide sweeping views over the city too. All picture perfect spots. This makes me want to come back again. Our tour guide might have a different review. She got a flat tire which delayed us at the first stop while being fixed, but we had a great time meeting our group and taking photos of each other. It was time well spent and didn't bother any of us a bit! We also we got stuck by a delivery van in the parking lot of a 5 star resort with great coastal views...what a treat! She was great and we loved her perspective on the city. I highly recommend it!
Excellent Tour , We did the 2 1/2 hr tour , Julian the Guide was great and very informative . Bikes were also easy to use and comfortable . Would highly recommending .
Hey all....we booked a couple of trips through Viator and thoroughly enjoyed the 2nd one. We would have truly enjoyed this one as well, if it was only my husband and I. The City is not prepar ed for Cyclists so is definitely not for kids or anyone who is intimidated by motorists. We had our 13 year old with us and he was scared the entire time. The city has steep hills and the motorists are unyielding. Unfortunately the site implies that this trip is ok for kids. Its really not. I do wish that it had as another electric bike tour is available to and through the national park. It likely would have been more appropriate for my son. Our guide was SUPER and very kind!
Guide was very good. This is a physically demanding trip up a steep hill at one point. Suggest guide ensure everyone is in lowest gear to easily make it up the hill.
Best way ever to see Marseille. Our kids loved the bikes and the boosts hey gave them. This is the most talked about trip weve been on. The kids tell everyone how amazing the bikes were.
Highly recommend this bike tour. If you are after of more action and adventure this is the excursion for you. We just absolutely loved it and our tour guide was fun.
The tour was meant to be four hours but we had people with us who only paid for three. We were offered the additional hour but only after we returned to the shop so the other two could return their bikes. Also, this turned into a multilingual tour and the people who did not speak much English monopolized the tour guides time and he seemed ok with that. The bikes were fine but the route is almost all in traffic and the guide was always very far ahead. He took us through some very narrow spots, I was uncomfortable for most of the ride. We are seasoned bike riders and have been on many bike tours, this one was not great
