Leave Marseille seaport after the meeting with your tour guide at the exit of the cruise terminal.
Start the day with a drive to Avignon, the majestic city of the Popes, listed at the Unesco world heritage. Take a look and pictures at Saint-Benezet bridge, famous for the children's song “Sur le Pont d'Avignon”, and admire the Popes' Palace, from the 14th century, which is the biggest Gothic-styled Palace in Europe.
Free time for lunch (not included) on your own during the day.
Continuation North direction for a sightseeing in the vineyards around Châteauneuf du Pape, explanations about "terroir", grape varieties, vinification and aging cellars.
Stop at a winery for a wine-tasting before going back to Marseille port for boarding.
