3 Days: Santa Fe de Antioquia, Jardin and Jerico

Itinerary

Day 1: Medellín / Santa Fe de Antioquia / Jardin

Stop At: Centro Historico Santa Fe de Antioquia, Santa Fe de Antioquia Colombia
After being collected from your hotel you’ll sit back and enjoy the scenery as you cruise out of Medellín and to your first stop of the day, a fantastic succulent farm with over 3000 varieties of exotic species. Where as well as walking through the heavenly garden you’ll get to meet the owner who has been running this family farm for over 30 years.

Next stop is a cable car ride (actually 4) across lush valleys filled with farms of everything you can image, as well as beautiful trees and rivers. You’ll be making 3 stops along the way to change cable cars and for more fantastic photos.

Following this you will carry on to the historical town of Santa Fe de Antioquia, where you will enjoy a fantastic guided tour through this beautiful town. Here you will discover buildings dating back to the colonial times, an absolutely delightful plaza (main square) and learn the history of the church that was never completed.

After you have wandered these stones streets and taken many perfect photos you will continue on the Western Bridge, which by chance is on the Western side of Santa Fe de Antioquia. This bridge was actually built by an architect that was also involved with building the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. Following more photos of this famous piece of history, you’ll cross this swinging bridge and start on your relaxing journey to Jardin de Antioquia.

On arrival you’ll be checking into your hotel and enjoy a a relaxing evening in a beautiful setting.

Day 2: Jardin / Jerico

Stop At: Centro Historico de Jardin, Carrera 3 # 10-10, Jardin Colombia
After You’ve enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, you’ll start your tour of this picturesque town wandering the streets marveling at the colonial buildings and balconies full of flowers.

Next on todays adventure will be an exploration of a wonderful coffee plantation on the outskirts of Jardin. Once here you’ll be greeted with one of the best coffee’s you’ll every taste in your life. Following this liquid gold you’ll enjoy a tour of this plantation, where you’ll learn every single thing about growing the perfect coffee bean and creating the perfect cup of coffee.

Once you’ve learned all there is to know, you’ll then enjoy a complementary horseback ride (optional), or if you prefer a relaxing walk for some more spectacular views.

Next you start on your journey to Jerico, where you’ll enjoy a wonderful walking tour of this beautiful heritage listed town, before relaxing in this surreal setting for the evening.

Day 3: Jerico / Medellín

You’ll wake and enjoy a relaxing breakfast and slowly start your journey back to Medellín with an expected arrival to your hotel of approximately 1pm.
