About this activity
After meeting your guide at 1:30pm at the ticket podium at Hard Rock Café, you'll begin a one hour guided tour of famous Beale Street in downtown Memphis.

Follow your guide and explore the history of the 'Home of the Blues.' The tour includes A. Schwab's old fashioned general store and soda fountain founded in 1876 (the city's oldest business), Handy Park, where you can hear the sounds of Memphis, and the original Lansky Bros. Clothing store, the "Clothier to the King," where the young Elvis Presley adopted his signature style.

You'll also see the historic Gallina Building and old Saloon Row, including the notorious whiskey den known as "The Castle of Missing Men." The tour ends at 2:30pm back at the Hard Rock Café.

Although I did enjoy the tour and the guide seemed informative it was hard to concentrate and take everything in that he was saying as we had a hard time looking at him talking as he had white saliva in both corners of his mouth the whole time. If not for that I may have given it an extra rating and suggest someone with a big voice should always be giving the tour to be able to hear over the music. Sorry but it's honest feedback.
