About this activity
This site had an extension of 20 square kilometers (7.7 sq mi), with more than 2,000 residential complexes and approximately 120,000 inhabitants. Here you can explore Avenue of the Dead, the main axis of the city, with a length of 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) and whose sides are occupied by the most important buildings. There is also the Pyramid of the Sun, with a height of 63 meters (207 ft), being the largest building of Teotihuacan; and the Pyramid of the Moon, one of the oldest buildings, with a height of 45 meters (148 ft). Quetzalpapalotl Palace was the residence of the main priests of Teotihuacan, and is located southwest of Moon Square. Be surprised by the Citadel, an architectural set west of the Avenue of the Dead, which includes the Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent. After visiting this great old city, you will go to a crafts workshop, and then to enjoy a delicious lunch

In addition to the above, the tour includes a stop at a restaurant for a good buffet meal (included) and a store which provides an example of the traditional drinks pulque and tequila. The bus came on-time (look for the "hop on-hop off" bus signs for exactly where to wait at each designated tour-stop as they are operated by the same company). A sufficient amount of time is given at each place - no rush. Note that lunch is not until around 3:30, so the guide directed me to a trusted sandwich stand at the Basilica for something stave off being hungry. The guide was attentive. The only issue is that it is difficult to hear the background information given while the bus is moving. I'd recommend this tour. I'd recommend this tour.
