About this activity
Take in the 3 most culturally and historically important sites in the Mexico City area on a full-day tour that includes visits to Teotihuacan, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Tlatelolco.
Your tour begins with a visit to the archeological site of Teotihuacan, where you’ll marvel at some of the most impressive pyramids in the world. See the Sun and Moon pyramids, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Avenue of the Dead, and more.
Next you’ll head to Mexico’s most important Catholic pilgrimage site, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This shrine was built to commemorate the reported appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego, an Aztec peasant.
The third and final stop of the tour is Tlatelolco, where it is said that the past, present, and future of Mexico meet. The Plaza de las Tres Culturas is named after the 3 periods of Mexican history that are represented by structures from the pre-Columbian, Spanish colonial, and the independent mestizo nation.

From the very beginning, I knew it was going to be a great trip. Sandra, our guide, arrived on time to our hotel to pick us up, and shortly thereafter we were on our way to our first stop.Sandra explained everything well in both English and Spanish as needed, and her personality and charisma made everything extremely enjoyable.Teotihuacan is absolutely breathtaking, and it’s not to be missed. I highly recommend anyone interested in seeing Teotihuacan to go with this tour group.
