If you are visiting Mexico City, these pyramids are not to be missed. The views and structures themselves are very impressive and important to understanding mesoamerican culture and history. I recommend going to the Teotihuacán section of the National Anthropology Museum first for some of the smaller, more delicate artifacts and also some backstory before going. My tour guide Julio was really nice and answered all our questions with passion. Don’t forget to buy some locally made jewelry while you’re there and support the local economy. Highly recommended!
Fantastic! We learnt alot about the history of the Pyramids and the legends. Leon was a great guide, very friendly and helpful. He took interest in his guests. We were in a group of approx. 8-9 people, we had plenty of time to explore as a group and take lots of photos. We caught public transport (buses and the metro) which was fine with us as we got to experience real Mexico City. Worth doing in a guided tour as well. We would highly recommend this.
I was in Vladamir's group. Loved his passion and knowledge for and about Teotihuacan. Also, the people i met in the group were wonderful . Highly recommend that you hold your bags and backpacks in front of you on the public bus and on the subway to avoid attracting pickpockets. Other than that, this is a great day trip not to be missed.
This tour was incredible because Vladimir was so passionate and knowledgeable about the Teotihuacan Pyramids. He answered any questions that we had and knew so much about the history of this ancient city and civilization. This was a huge highlight of my trip to Mexico City, and it is well worth the price. I definitely recommend packing lots of water, some snacks, and sunscreen! Enjoy!
It was as good as advertised with a well-versed, informative and friendly guide. We never felt we were being rushed or herded. Great experience.
Great trip with Leon as our guide. We took public transportation which was also interesting and part of the experience. Leon is very knowledgeable and down to earth. He paced us well when we climbed the pyramids.
