This round-trip tour begins with a pickup from just about any hotel or location in the Ft. Lauderdale or Miami area. We can also arrange for pick up and drop off from the cruise ship terminals, with drop offs at airports. We can store your luggage for the day - no extra charge.

This smaller group experience is led by an experienced a master naturalist tour guide. The captain for the guided boat trip in the 10,000 Islands is a multi-generational native to the region, who knows the area like no one else.

Another highlight of this tour is an exciting 1-hour air boat ride (the best air boat ride in the Everglades) into the REAL Everglades, with the opportunity to see many alligators and a wide variety of birds up close. This is no touristy experience.

This authentic air boat experience goes to a historic and hidden Miccosukee village that can only be accessed by boat and on this tour. Your Native American guide will leave you raving about this experience.

Additionally, you'll be taken on a 1-hour-plus nature walk in either Fakahatchee Strand or Everglades National Park by your master naturalist guide. This wilderness is an oasis for a wide variety of wildlife, birds, rare orchids, bromeliads, bald cypress trees, old royal palms and wildlife. Also visit a historic trading post, a fascinating look at Florida’s Seminole Indian and pioneer past.

Enjoy several other unique and engaging cultural and ecological stops, including wildlife viewing in Big Cypress. Stop for stone crab, the cheapest and freshest place to buy them (optional to purchase). This is where stone crabbing originated! We keep it fresh for your return. This tour also includes a narrated, interesting driving tour through Everglades city and the Everglades, where you will learn about the unique history of the region. A very well organized tour of the Everglades and Big Cypress - small group with limited time riding around the city picking up a large group. Great tour of the 10,000 Islands to see dolphins and birds and the west coast of the state. Air boar tour was a real tour of the sea of grass including local cultures, alligators, turtles and birds - not a 20 minute Disney ride. I would highly recommend this trip.

This tour was amazing! If you have a whole day available, its a great way to experience the Everglades in an immersion way--and, with a delicious lunch as well! Our guide, Sand, who is also an owner, was a natural-born biologist, as well as being nice as can be! We had a Miccosukee guide on our air boat ride and he was very entertaining as well as knowledgeable. Our lake cruise was a really interesting ride with a local tour guide who lived in the area forever. The walk was in the best weather and we were there early enough that the crowds were non-existent. By the time we left, crowds were roaring in to Everglades National Park. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanted to learn a lot about the Everglades in a short period of time. The tour groups are small and everything was well-organized, pleasant and perfect!

Absolutely fantastic day. My family had an experience like no other, with a wonderfully informative, friendly and funny guide who looked after us like we were friends. The stops were brilliant, we came away feeling like we know the everglades, its culture, wildlife and residents. Highly recommended.
