A 32-passenger to 43-passenger bus will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Florida Everglades. The coach Did not pick us up in the right place, the coach was old and dirty. On the overall the airboat tour was quite good, we saw 3 alligators.
Hello, we spent a very nice excursion, first with the ride on airboat with the captain of the Looney, and followung with the aligator presentation, and small zoo. During the ride we succeed to see 3 aligators, and several kind of birds. Despite the numberous people in the same boat and boat departure every 10min, animals were at the appointement (I guess they see so many tourist per day, they don't care anymore about us). the Captain was feeding the birds to get them coming close to the boat. the bad side is organisation before, we had to ask many times to several different people to get the right information. Our Viator printed voucher was enough to check in, but "Island Queen cruise" are subcontracted this everglades excursion with several companies, and finally none of them were having us scheduled in their checklist. A manager had to come to put us in a bus as last minutes host.
Since it was raining, I was unsure how this trip would go. Turns out, we stayed nice and dry in the boat while Captain Dylan was out in the rain driving the boat. We got to see 4 alligators. Captain Dylan was an entertaining tour guide showing us different birds and plants in the Everglades. He showed us how to find worms and how to make guaze. It ended up being a great way to spend a rainy day!
