About this activity
Enjoy this must-do walking tour of the main monuments and lifestyle highlights of the city of Milan.
You will start from the 15th-Century Sforza Castle, the ancient political centre of the city. You will then visit Piazza della Scala, where you will enjoy the view of the Monument to Leonardo Da Vinci and Palazzo Marino, just in front of the world’s famous La Scala Theatre home of conductors and composers such as Arturo Toscanini, Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi and Soprano as Maria Callas.
You will walk through the 19th-Century arcade Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II, one of the world's oldest shopping malls, leading you to Piazza Duomo. Finally, you will visit the Cathedral, that is the third largest Christian church in the world, entirely made of marble. Walking along the side of the church, you will appreciate the thousands of statues, spires and pinnacles that made this church unique in Italy.
