About this activity
General Information
There has been a lot of conservation efforts going on Between Tsavo East/West and Amboseli in terms of Elephant conservation. From the legendary David Sheldrick who set up his first orphanage in Tsavo east at Ithumba. This is where the elephants are brought after leaving the orphanage in Nairobi before being released back to the wild. Even though this is not included in our itinerary let us know in advance should you wish to visit this orphanage.
This is a great itinerary to add on to your safari experience.
Amboseli
This is where we start of the safari. Amboseli is 3-4 hrs from Nairobi, the roads are good but when we get into the National Park the roads are not Tarmacked. We always stay inside the parks but this is subject to availability. We stay here for one night and if time allows we can visit a Masai Village at an extra cost.
Tsavo East and West
Tsavo national Park is the biggest National park in Kenya and also has a lot of History. Your guide will tell you all about it including the Man eaters of Tsavo as well as the natural Mzima springs and Shetani Lava Flows.
