It was ok,not as eventful as the description states our tour guide was uninterested and tried to rush us through the tour. Wished I remembered his name it was so bland. This really isn’t a super saver. Tour very bland with the exception of the Rose Hall tour which somewhat made the trip ok.
Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide stayed with us for the duration and was full of interesting facts and information. Rose Hall was spooky but such fun. We saw quite a few ghosts Actors as we wimps were led through the historical house. The actual story of Rose Hall was very interesting and Annie was a heck of a woman. There was even a Welsh Dresser in the house which I spotted immediately being Welsh myself. The Luminous Lagoon Night Cruise was incredible and we were well looked after by Cpt Jac Sparrow and his merry crew.
Very informative and fun. Our guide and driver Dylan, picked us us right on time. Which never happens in Jamacia The tour of Montego Bay was great and then on to Rose Hall which was fun. You can go to a cool bar in basement of the plantation. The luminous lagoon was close by and is a must see. The 25 for photos is a bit excessive but as we had the boat to ourselves we didnt mind. Recommend this tour highly.
Extremely knowledgeable tour guide, Tony, took us to see the sights of Montego Bay, including shopping and a stop at Scotchies. Enjoyed the Rose Hall tour, then to Falmouth for luminous lagoon. Again, very knowledgeable guide to explain the luminous concept. Certainly worth seeing on your Jamaica trip.
The tour lasted almost 6 hours due to traffic and pick up/drop off of passengers. We attempted to drive around Montego Bay during rush hour. The visit to Rose Hall Tour was too long and more focused on zombies jumping out at us than actually giving us the history of the family or the house. Had we known that there would not be time for even getting a snack, we would have eaten before we were picked up at 4:30 p.m.
The content of this tour is very worthwhile the mechanics needs some restructuring. We were told to be in the lobby of our Montego Bay hotel at 4:30 pickup worked well. The tour was supposed to be broken down into 3 parts: a tour of historic Montego Bay with time for dinner, a ghost tour of Rose Hall, finishing with a trip into the Luminous Lagoon. By the time we retrieved the last members of the tour and headed into Montego Bay, it was 6-6:30, there was no time for dinner, the city was congested with traffic and it felt like a total waste of time. Some people hadn't eaten since 12:30pick up in Negril we hadn't eaten since 2:30. Had we known, we would have made different preparations and brought food with us. The ghost tours start on the hour so then we drive towards Rose Hall, another 20 minutes in the other direction. This is where the tour starts to get good: Rose Hall at night, is great! The crew has staged it very well and made it informative, fun and a bit scary. The Luminous Bay is a don't miss we did not swim and it was still fascinating and beautiful. We finally arrived back at our hotel at 10:30 and of course the buffet was closed. I would do it again but would love for the tour creators to rethink the pickup schedule and timing.
