Full day small-group tour Vineyards and Villages from Montpellier

9.30am: meet your guide on the Esplanade de l’Europe in Montpellier. Take of for a 45 min drive to reach foothills of the Larzac plateau and make a 1st stop in a famous winery of the region. Visit the cellar and oak barrel room and finish with a tasting of their top quality wines. You will then continue your tour and stop on the way to admire the view of the gorges of the Hérault from the famous Devil's Bridge. Before heading to the charming medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert, a jewel of Romanesque art in Languedoc and a UNESCO world heritage site. Take the time to stroll through the medieval streets, visit its famous the abbey. You will then have free time for lunch in one of the restaurants of the village. In the afternoon we will go further north to reach another valley where the village of Saint Jean de Buèges and its medieval fortress seems to be stop in time. Stroll through the village and finish the day with a wine tasting by a boutique winery of the village that produces a range of delicious Terrasses du Larzac wines.
