The city is particularly renowned for twenty monuments built throughout history. They are found under the name of the Laure of the Trinity-Saint-Serge erected in 1340 by Serge de Radonège (1314 -1392). This is one of the most famous religious sites in Russia and the one you should see first when you visit Sergiev Posad. Then, we will see the Gethsemane Chernigov monastery. If you wish you could also visit the Toy Museum.
