About this activity
Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Bunker, Tverskaya ul, 12 Metro Tverskaya, Moscow 125009 Russia
Come to see the recently declassified facility of the Cold War period. It was built at a depth of 50 meters just a year before the Cuban missile crisis.
We will go for one-and-half hour Underground Experience at the freshly declassified Soviet Bunker laid at 50 metres deep.
Our guide will explain to us the logic behind the construction of bunkers in the Soviet Union and will give us a short historical overview of this exact bunker function.
And then we are free to go deeper underground! No passenger elevators, just myriads of stairs - Be Prepared!
Inside you will explore the dark tunnels of the underground facility. You will see an active 10-tonne door that would protect the bunker against the shock wave of a nuclear strike, as well as many other hermetic doors that separate parts of the object. On 50 meters deep we will research the areas around us, technical rooms, storage facilities, the appendix, connected with metro and many more.
It is an interactive experience so you can touch, push and pull all switches around. And be prepared for unexpected!
No one was disappointed so far.
At the conclusion of the tour, you can sip some coffee and buy unusual souvenirs (think of things like a Geiger counter)
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
