Itinerary

Day 1: Moscow historical center

Stop At: Red Square, Krasnaya Sq., Moscow 109012 Russia
Our three-days' acquaintance with Moscow begins in its historical heart Red Square and the Kremlin. We will see iconic St Basil's (visit is optional/ extra), Lenin Mausoleum, have an ice cream in GUM department store. Then we stroll along beautiful Nikolskaya, go out to Lubyanka and look at the KGB. From the rooftop of Detsky Mir we will look at Moscow center and resume our walk towards the Bolshoi Theatre. We'll explore the small charming Moscow streets and find ourselves in Tverskaya, the main city's thoroughfare.

Stop At: Kremlin Walls and Towers, Red Square, Moscow 613310 Russia
The Kremlin is the official working residence of the Russian President and the oldest part of the city. Listen to the commentary that details the history and culture of Russia and its present day. Kremlin tour on the grounds is optional/ extra and is to be booked upfront.

Stop At: Moskovskiy Metropoliten, Moscow 119048 Russia
After a lunch/ coffee break (optional) we will proceed to the 'world wonder' the metro of Moscow. We will visit several historical ornate stations of different decorative styles.

Stop At: Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Volkhonka, 15, Moscow 119019 Russia
Admire the biggest Russian Orthodox Cathedral in the world and learn the 1000 years history of Christianity in Russia. Enjoy one of the most picturesque views of the city from the river side.

Stop At: Gorkiy Central Park of Culture and Recreation, Krymskiy Val St., 9, Moscow 119049 Russia
Visit the unique Muzeon Park of Arts or 'Fallen Communist Idols' open-air museum, see the remnants of Soviet-era propaganda - statures to Lenin, Stalin, Brezhnev and other leaders of the past. Finish the day in the shady alleys of the iconic Gorky park. Get your guide's recos for the evening/ night entertainments. You may book a restaurant/ club or show with our guide's help.

Day 2: Modern Moscow

Stop At: The Museum of Cosmonautics, Mira Ave., 111, Moscow 129515 Russia
Learn about the international space race that changed the world forever and the most interesting facts of Space exploration. Walk to the VDNKh 'Soviet resort' park and enjoy Stalin Empire style at its peak.

Get familiar with modern Russian art and enjoy paintings of avant-guard Malevich, Kandinsky, Petrov-Vodkin

Day 3: Moscow day 3 off the beaten track

Stop At: Bunker-42 Cold War Museum at Taganka, Kotelnicheskiy 5th Lane, 11, Moscow 115172 Russia
The real cold war bunker uncovers the secret history of USA-Soviet Cold War behind the blast-proof doors. In active service in the 1960s–1970s the bunker was designed as a command-centre for strategic aviation.

Stop At: Izmailovo, Sovetskaya, 80, Moscow 105187 Russia
The colourful wooden replica of the summer palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, is a complex of several single-subject museums. One is dedicated to Russian folk art, another to bread, and yet another to vodka. Visitors can also experience a traditional Russian meal. The near-by open-air market, which dates back to the 17th century, is selling original paintings, traditional crafts, and wares at bargain price.

Option 1 Banya or steambath is a Russian deep-rooted tradition which usually remaining a mystery to visitors. It is not only a place to sweat and wash but mainly to communicate over a cup of tea or glass of kvass (root beer).
