In about 2 hours you get to Vladimir - the main city of the region and also gateway to Vladimir and Suzdal museum reserve. Our driver meets you at the station. You start your city tour together with the local guide

This UNESCO heritage site used to be the ancient gate of the town and nowadays hosts a museum to commemorate the Mongol invasion of Russia that took place in XIII century.

St Demetrius Cathedral of Vladimir was built in 1194–1197 as a private chapel of Vsevolod the Big Nest and represents a unique international project of Russian and Byzantine masters, Friedrich Barbarossa's masons, and Georgian carvers. It is another UNESCO World Heritage site in the city

You take a stroll in the garden with nice views over the newer town, Oka river and railway station. Great pictures can be taken in all seasons

It was built between 1158 and 1165 by the order of Andrey Bogolyubsky at the mouth of the Nerl River (where it flows into the Klyazma River). Russian Orthodox Christians believe that Bogolyubovo was founded on the spot where Bogolyubsky saw a miraculous vision of the Theotokos, who commanded him to build a church and a monastery on this spot.

The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin on the Nerl River is an Orthodox church and a symbol of medieval Russia. Bulit by Prince Andrei Bogolyubskiy in XII century, it was built in white stone. You can enjoy fascinating scenery with a large field, 2 rivers and the beautiful church in front of you

Although it does not look like its Moscow rival, the local Kremlin is also included into UNESCO list of World heritage and still has a lot of fascinating sights of interest. The white limestone buildings of the local Kremlin may also give you an idea what Moscow Kremlin looked like some 7 centuries ago.

The complex has a number of traditional Russian wooden bulidings including housing, chucrches and water mills.

Stop At: Spaso-Evfimiyev Monastery Museum Complex, Lenina St., 146, Suzdal 601293 Russia

The monastery included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites hosts one of the largest museum complexes of the town and a tomb of Dmitriy Pozharskiy – the leader of Russian popular uprising against the Polish invaders in early XVII century.

You stop at a traditional Russian teahouse to try some drinks and snacks before you head back to the railway station of Vladimir

Stop At: Vladimir Suzdal Museum Reserve, 43, Bolshaya Moskovskaya St, Vladimir 600000 Russia

You get back to the train station in Vladimir and board the speedy train towards Moscow that leaves at around 6 p.m. It will get to Moscow in just around 2 hours

You get back to Kursk Railway Station in Moscow. Our local transfer-man meets you here and helps you to board a coach back to your hotel in Moscow
