The Boulevard Ring: A Walk Through the Ages

Hey-hey! My name is Lisa. I graduated from The People's Friendship University of Russia with a degree in linguistics and English. Additionally after graduating I completed tour guide courses. I'm very fond of watching films, reading books (especially English classics) and walking around my lovely city. Thanks to my university I've met many interesting people from all around the world. They inspired me to become a tour guide, so that I can show tourists the most beautiful places in Moscow and tell them the fascinating stories behind their facades. 

We will walk along Tverskoy Boulevard, one of the oldest and longest streets in the centre of Moscow. Throughout the walk we'll see beautiful buildings and mansions on both sides of the road and you'll find out their rich history, which famous Russians once lived there and the mysteries behind the walls. Almost all of the theatres, monuments, museums, churches and mansions we will walk by were built centuries ago and together we'll try to revive Moscow's scenery in days gone by. At the end of the tour we will visit one the most famous, entertaining and lively street in the city – New Arbat. 

During celebrations around Christmas and New Year, Moscow is decorated with mesmerizing light installations and decorations, which we will pass by during the excursion. You will have the chance to take wonderful photos that will be a permanent keepsake for the memories of your walk.
