Day 1: Explore magnificent Ajanta caves

Stop At: Ajanta Caves Road, Ajanta 431001 India
It´s during the hunting, John Smith rediscovered these magnificent caves. They are built during 5th century BC to 3rd century AD. The complex has 28 caves.

The caves are excavate in semi circular scarp of a step stone about 76 meters high overlooking a narrow sinuous gorge. They all are Buddhist caves and known for paintings. The theme of the painting of the wall is intensely religious in tone and mostly centres around Buddha, Boddhisattvas, incidents from the life of Buddha and Jatakas.

Day 2: Ellora caves: a culture tour of 3 different religions

Stop At: Ellora Caves, Ellora Cave Rd Ahead of Hiranya Reosrts, Aurangabad 431005 India
The temples of Ellora are the product of 3 religious systems: Buddhism, Bramhanism (Hinduism), Jainism containing elaborate carvings of god and goddess and remarkable memorial of the 3 great faiths they represent. The caves have been dated to between 5th-7th centuries AD and 11th-12th centuries AD.

The main cave:16 Kailash temple is the largest monolithic temple in the world. This temple is attritubted to the Rashtrakuta ruler, Krishna I.
