Full Day Mumbai City Tour with Dabbawalas on Private Basis

Our driver will pick you up from your booked hotel in Mumbai at 10.00 am. Board the car and get transferred to Church Gate, Mumbai local railway station. Get ready for a Mumbai local train ride experience with Dabbawala’s. You will be provided the train tickets from Church Gate to Mahalaxmi Railway station, a major point where many Dabbawala’s get down for the delivery. On reaching, deboard the train and see how meticulously Dabbawalas manage the whole procedure from carrying a whole lot of tiffins to delivering them at distant locations.

Then, you will be taken to the world’s largest open air Laundromat in Mumbai, Dhobi Ghat. The massive location where as many as 7,000 washermen wash clothes and linen counting to over one lakh every day. They follow traditional washing method where clothes are flogged, scrubbed, washed and dried on ropes in the ghat.

In the afternoon, get ready for a tour of Mumbai city with tour guide. Visit the major attractions including Prince of Wales Museum, Marine Drive and Gateway of India. Drive past the old colonial buildings like Victoria Terminus, Mumbai University and Rajabai Clock Tower. Spend some time at Marine Drive, drive past Chowpatty Beach, explore the Parsi Towers of silence, Malabar Hills and visit Gandhi’s museum known as Mani Bhawan. On completion of the city tour, you will be dropped safely back at the booked hotel.
