Well balanced between seeing the city sights and hearing the history. Very enjoyable ride through the English Garden.
My husband and I love bike tours - you get to see so much more of the city without getting tired! This one met those criteria and Jessica was an informative guide that wrangled a dozen tourists through the busy streets of this city for half the day. We saw many of the major sites and learned the history, including some tied to the Third Reich (which we found particularly interesting). The bikes were the worst we have ever encountered on our 20 + bike tours we have done in Europe over the years. They are older 'cruisers' with 3 speeds, at most, and are poorly maintained. My brakes did not work properly and squeaked like mad. Several people had their chains fall off during the ride - once in a bad traffic spot (which really put the rider at risk!). The bikes were rusty and the seats difficult to adjust. You travel pretty slowly around the city, but even for that, these bikes are not adequate.
