About this activity
At 08:30am you will be picked up from your hotel in Muscat where you will board the 4WD and drive south. As you cross the Hajar Mountains the scenery all along the way is not only beautiful but also spectacular. You reach Wadi Bani Khalid a beautiful oasis in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. The turquoise blue pools of fresh water are in stark contrast to the surrounding mountains. Take in the scenery at this great photo opportunity where you will also enjoy lunch.
Next you will drive to Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand dunes is also host to a variety of flora and fauna. On arrival the tyres will be deflated and you will start your thrilling sand dune ride in the Landcruiser. As you go deeper into the sands of Wahiba, the dunes will grow in size. You will then be taken back to Muscat.
