Majestic Sawa-I-Lau Caves Day Trip by Seaplane

Your day trip starts with a scenic flight departure from the seaplane base, located right next to the Nadi Airport, on Wailoaloa Beach. A courtesy pick up is provided from Nadi or Denarau hotels at 7:45am or alternatively you can make your own way to base.

Board one of the seaplanes, for a flight departure time of 9am – 9:15am. Your low flying 35-minute scenic flight will take you to the majestic caves.

Your scenic seaplane flight will deposit you right outside these ancient lime stone caves which is said to be the home of the Yasawa Islands’ Deity and Ulutini. Before entering, a traditional Fijian ceremony is held at the nearby village where the guardians of the cave grant access into this majestic site. The legends and myths that surround this natural wonder are sure to amaze you as much as the caves themselves on this full-day experience.

This experience includes a welcome ceremony by the village members, village tour, snorkeling, cave visit, shell market, lunch and entertainment by the village members.

Departure from the village is at 2pm where you will take your seaplane back to base at Wailoaloa Beach next to Nadi airport.
