Itinerary

Day 1: NAIROBI ABADARES

Stop At: Aberdares, Kenya
Pick-up from your Nairobi Hotel and depart for Aberdares.

Lunch will be served at Aberdares Country Lodge.

Later, enjoy a joint game drive as you drive to The Ark Lodge.

At the lodge, enjoy game viewing from a deck overlooking the waterhole.

Dinner and overnight

Day 2: SAMBURU

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Nairobi Kenya
ABerDARES - SAMBURU

After breakfast, depart for Samburu, passing over the equator.

Arrive for a short game drive en route to the camp or lodge, where lunch will be served.

After lunch, take some rest, before going on a game drive at4 pm. Samburu Park has unique residents including the reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra, oryx beisa, and the blue legged Somali ostrich.

Overnight at Sarova Shaba lodge

Day 3: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Pass By: Samburu National Reserve, Nairobi Kenya
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of unique north-Kenyan species such as the reticulated giraffe, oryx beisa, grevy’s zebra, and the long-necked gerenuk. The reserve consists of a desert landscape - dusty red plains broken by thorny scrub, featuring dramatic views of tabletop Mt. Ol Olokwe at the horizon.

Day 4: SAMBURU- ALPAJETA

Stop At: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki, Kenya
SAMBURU - OL PeJETA

Have breakfast at the camp and depart for Sweetwater's - a private game reserve and home to rare species such as beisa oryx, Rothschild giraffe, and the black rhino.

The game drive here reveals the full range of African wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and hippo.

Enjoy a private visit to see the tame animals at the wildlife orphanage.

Observe chimps at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Overnight at Sweetwater's.

Day 5: OLPEJETA- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya
OL PEJETA - LAKE NAKURU

Leave Sweetwaters for Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge or camp.

Relax by the pool area and later go on a game drive at4 pm.

Meet great masses of flamingos and the endangered white and black rhinos found in this park.

Overnight at Sarova Lion hill

Day 6: LAKE NAKURU-NAIVASHA

Pass By: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Kenya
LAKE NAKURU - NAIVASHA

Have breakfast and depart for Lake Naivasha, which is less than 2 hours away.

Arrive and check in at the lodge by lunchtime.

Have lunch and later enjoy a boat ride. This is a good chance to see a number of bird species and hippos.

Later, return to the shore and head back to the lodge.Alternatively, enjoy a game drive and hiking in Hells Gate.

Overnight at Simba Lodge.

Day 7: LAKE NAIVASHA-MAASAI MARA

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve Kenya, Narok 00100 Kenya
LAKE NAIVASHA-MAASAI MARA

Have an early breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara, to arrive in time for lunch at the camp.

Have lunch and then relax before an afternoon game drive at4 o’clock.

Overnight at Enkorok Lodge

Day 8: MAASAI MARA

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve Kenya, Narok 00100 Kenya
MAASAI MARA - full day game drive

Spent the morning and afternoon on game drives that lead to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Overnight at Ashnil Lodge.

Accommodation includes en-suite restroom facilities and secluded verandas.

Optional Activities: Balloon ride and a visit to Maasai Village

Day 9: MAASAI MARA- NAIROBI

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Park, Mount Kenya National Park 00100 Kenya
MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI

Have breakfast at the camp, then check out of the park.

Drive to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch.

Lunch is served at Carnivore Restaurant or one of your choices.

Drop off at the hotel for an overnight stay or directly to the airport for departure.

Alternatively, take a short trip to Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen or do some shopping for souvenirs at Kazuri Beads.
