Explore Hell's Gate National Park on this full-day walking safari from Nairobi.
Enjoy the scenic drive from Nairobi and stop by beautiful Lake Naivasha en route. Search out local wildlife, enjoy a lunch of regional Kenyan cuisine, and pay a visit to Elsamere Conservation Center.
Hell's Gate is one of only two Kenyan national parks in which you are free to leave your vehicle and explore the park on foot. The park is home a variety of wildlife, unusual plant life, and over 130 species of birds. The park has dramatic scenery, with looming cliffs, gorges, and basalt columns to explore. Zebras, baboons, and gazelles are common sights, while more exotic cheetahs, leopards, and ostrich are occasionally encountered. After spending some time looking for wildlife, break for lunch at a nearby restaurant where you can sample regional Kenyan cuisine and mingle with the local Maasai people.
After lunch, head to Elsamere Conservation Center on the shores of Lake Naivasha. The center was once the home of Joy and George Adamson, who devoted their lives to wildlife conservation. The area is still a haven for wildlife, with its own small troop of black and white colobus monkeys living and playing in the acacia trees.

the local tour company has no idea what promises this viator giving you when you book the tour, its only driving you from city to the park and returning you from park to city. as you have to pay extra for every single entrance during the day tour. so 140 usd instead of paying to this tour company if you pay only 1 /3 of it to a driver you do the tour yourself . secondly there was no such masai visit or anything the way they put the colorful pics of masai dressed pple , they only take you to a small nonsense stalls where they try to sell you some dodgy crafts at an excessive amount of money. when you ask the ( tour guide ! ) literally a driver only no input , no info , no service at all , he tells you no theres no such masai people here i dont know where did you see these pictures ! when you ask him about the lunch , he tells you , no theres no lunch or anything, so how do you expect people from 6 am onwards all day without any lunch even water , he says no but theres a place by the lake if you like to pay for the lake boat tour you can order some food there and wait more than 1 hour for the order to be ready . so with many things promised in the tour package and what you get is completely frustrating . try to do it yourself, negotiate with a driver , even your hotel`s driver by paying only half or 1/3 of the price this tour is asking for as its not fair paying in nairobi 140 usd and get literally only a driver but nothing more . at least you can make him stop where you like ot stop . even water mentioned on their tour detail when you ask him okay wheres the water , there`s nowhere to get any water here , he just smiles at you as if why you are bothered only for a bottle water you making it an issue kind of . yes an organized lunch and water was very important for me and seeing some masai people and take some pics with them , thats why i dared ot pay this outrageous amount in such a poor country where you could literally have a driver to driver around for 2 /3 days not only to hells gate . dont pay for this nonsense
