Mombasa - 3 Day Tour from Nairobi

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Mombasa

Stop At: Fort Jesus Museum, Ndia Kuu, Mombasa 00200 Kenya
We will tour Mombasa Old Town on foot with stopovers at the old Market (Marikiti), Old port and Fort Jesus. After a brief Coconut break, we will enter Fort Jesus for a tour of this old trade hub with a mixed history. The Fort's Museum has well preserved artefacts from the museum and illustrative materials detailing the history of this important building.

Stop At: Mombasa Beach, Kenya
After the old City and Fort Jesus tours, dinner will be served. You can relax at the beach and enjoy sunset after dinner or take a walk along the nice shores.

Day 2: Malindi - Watamu

Stop At: Malindi Road, Gede 80208 Kenya
You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast and taken to the Malindi Marine Park where you can spot wonderful sea creatures and enjoy time on a boat. This will be a whole day tour (including Watamu) on water including lunch on a boat served by the Captain.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Watamu National Marine Park, Watamu 80202 Kenya
The Boat ride will cover both Malindi and Watamu with a cruise through scenic waters and good times with Dolphins.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Mombasa Tusks, Moi avenue, Mombasa 80100 Kenya
On our way back from Malindi we will drive through important streets including the famous Tusks (Moi Avenue). Dinner will be served from 5:00 pm and afterwards you may arrange with the Guide for a street Food tour (optional) of Mombasa. Alternatively you can relax at the beach and enjoy sunset.

Day 3: Mombasa - Nairobi

Stop At: Diani Beach, Ukunda Kenya
After early breakfast we will drive to the south coast of Mombasa (Diani) for a tour of the beach. We will drive back to Mombasa Island from noon and catch our 2:00 pm train back to Nairobi. The Train travels through the Tsavo (East/West) National Park and some scenic parts of Kenya. you will see vast grasslands and observe the lives of people in rural areas.
