Itinerary

Day 1: Airport pickup. We will organize a 3 hrs car pick up in order for you to acclimate in Nanyuki.

Stop At: Equator Marker, Nyeri - Nanyuki Road, Nanyuki Town, Nanyuki Municipality 10400 Kenya
Will make sure that you stop over at this point for a photo secession
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Fairview Coffee Estate, Kiambu Road opposite Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology, Nairobi Kenya
On the way you will get a chance to view coffee plantains and tea zones on far end. Equator pass will be a must
Duration: 3 hours

Day 2: We start our trekking journey

Stop At: Mount Kenya National Park 10400 Kenya
We will commence our journey at 8:00 from the hotel on the way to Mt Kenya national park. This is where will organize our guides and porters make sure you have the right mountain gears on a 10 kilometers trek to old moses camp.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 3: On the way to shipton camp

Stop At: Mount Kenya National Park 10400 Kenya
On 8:00 is when we will commence our trek on the way to shipton camp. It is a rough distance of nine kilometers and it will take 3 hours. On this route you get a chance to pass the rarely seen rock hyrax moving from rock to rock in this cold climate. The altitude will be above 3100 m above sea level. This is a technical route and it will require a willing heart to conquire up to shipton camp. We will spend our night here and food will be served by our experienced chefs.

Day 4: On the way to point Lenana

Stop At: Mount Kenya National Park 10400 Kenya
On this day we will woke up very early in the morning(2:00 am). We have our breakfast then we start our trek from shipton camp. This is a very technical trail that will require a good will to overcome. After a period of three hours is when we reach point Lenana. Africa second highest peak. At this point on a clear morning one is supposed to view the magical sunrise in the Indian ocean and Mt Kilimanjaro. After taking our pictures we will descend back to Shipton camp for our breakfast. We will rest a bit then we continue our descend further back to Old Moses.

Day 5: At old moses camp

Stop At: Mount Kenya National Park 10400 Kenya
Best chance to spot wildlife on our trailing routes then we get back to sirimon route gate. you will receive your certificate and mount Kenya t shirt and the we will descend further to Nanyuki town. This is where our trek will end with you.
