Naples' Zoo, after some difficulties, is back today to its former glory! The animal collection has more than 400 specimens and the beauty of the green spaces makes the park an oasis within the city. With also 202 plant species, the Zoo is also a botanical garden.

The zoo is divided into several areas. Among the areas created, we can distinguish those destined to host the pachyderms (hippopotamuses, rhinoceroses, elephants), reptiles (snakes and alligators) and birds. You will find many other areas too, like the birds aviary, more 'familiar' animals like donkeys, rabbits, goats, but also big animals like the leopard, tiger, giraffe and zebra.

Since the first years of activity the zoo has distinguished itself internationally for the remarkable successes in the acclimatisation of species and in the reproduction of rare species, such as the Vulture papa and the black Rhinoceros.

Inside the wildlife park, above the artificial pond hosting the wader birds, there is the bar-restaurant where you can purchase food and snacks.
