About this activity

This tour will take you to three areas of the city. The driver will first drive along the seaside passing onto lungomare Caracciolo and Mergellina and up to Posillipo’s hill from which you can take a snapshot of the most popular view of the city embracing the whole bay, Capri Island and Mt. Vesuvius. Driving back to the center you will be able to see the ancient Castel dell’Ovo, the oldest standing stronghold in town (12th century) embedded in an old fishermen village (Borgo Marinari). Second, you will be taken to the monumental area for a stroll on your own. This neighborhood counts a number of outstanding buildings placed side by side, such as: Maschio Angioino castle (1279); Real San Carlo theatre, the world's oldest working opera house (1737); Royal Palace (1644); Plebiscito Square, the largest in town and named after the vote that in 1860 declared the unification of the Kingdom of Italy; Galleria Umberto, a shopping mall from 1887; the neoclassic church of San Francesco di Paola from 1820 inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. Back to the vehicle, you will be heading to the historical center “Naples splitter” (Spaccanapoli), the ancient Greek urban structure and heart of the city, where you can enjoy your pizza dinner.

This tour will be handled by an English speaking expert driver who will point you the main monuments disclosing along the way. Other languages, beside Italian, are available on request.

夜の街をドライブして夕食を食べるので、確かにナイトツアーですが、夏は日が長いので写真のようなポジリポの丘からの夜景は見られません。６：３０ピックアップで、夕食終ってホテルに帰る時は真っ暗な３時間のコースでした。夏は日が長いので、ポジリポの丘からの夜景は最後に回すのかと勝手に思い込んでしまいました。昼間に既に見た高台からの眺めを見て、既に観光した名所を車中から眺めながら片言の英語のドライバーとぐるぐる回って、最後にオーナーが経営するレストランで、店内ガラガラなのに、大騒ぎのイタリア人男性の団体のすぐ横で食事をして、声が聞こえず会話が出来ませんでした。夜景を見られないなら申し込まなかったです。 It's a night tour, as I drive to the night city and eat dinner, but since the summer is a long day, I can not see the night view from the Posilipo hill like the photo. At 6:30 pickup, it was a dark 3 hour course to go back to the hotel after dinner. As summer is long, the night view from the hill of Posilipo has been voluntarily thought to turn it last. I watched the view from the hill that I had already seen in the daytime, I went around with the English driver of the word while watching the sights I had already visited from the car, and finally the restaurant owned by the owner. I had a meal right next to the men's group and I couldn't speak because I could not hear my voice. I could not apply if I could not see the night view.

The tour was fantastic. Our guide showed us some spectacular views of night-time Naples, including a castle and a church near the Bay of Naples, and we had a great pizza meal near one of the historic monuments in a famouschurch piazza in the heart of Naples.

Highly recommended tour with a very passionate driver/guide named Giovanni. We saw close to EVERYTHING in Naples with lots of information in excellent English. Best way to get an overview of the whole city and wow, the best ever pizza, with a very tasty entree all included in the Price!

Don't take this tour, only 4 of us and the three others had very little english, so dinner was very embarrassing. Tour started at 6.30pm so not night tour! Still daylight. Mini Van so not luxury coach. Ask how many on the tour first. Very overpriced.
