About this activity
Meet your driver at the cruise port of Naples or Salerno for the 8:00 am pick up time. Duration of the tours is about 9 hours.
Once you meet your driver, you will be drive to Pompeii for a 2 hour guided tour with a local licensed archaeological guide inside the ancient ruins of Pompeii.
For the next step, your friendly driver will go onto Sorrento, where you will have free time to visit this small town on the Sorrento coast with views of the bay of Naples and mount Vesuvius. Stop for lunch in Sorrento, ideal also for their excellent open wood oven pizza if you have children spending little euros but an excellent choice for lunch.
Next and final stop before returning to the port will be the town of Positano on the Amalfi coast. Mix all these three areas in a day for a fun and beautiful choice to spend a day from your cruise ship.

Absolutely perfect! Luca, our driver/guide was funny, entertaining, courteous and by the end of our tour, he felt like family. Luca was waiting for us at the port and took us to so many places! He arranged for a private guide in Pompeii and stopped along the way to take in the views of the Amalfi Coast. He recommended a restaurant in Sorrento and personally made sure we were taken care of.
