Day 1: Delhi To Rishikesh Arrival
Stop At: Laxman Jhula, Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand 249137, India
At 6 am, our representative will meet and assist you in getting transferred to Rishikesh (5-6 hours drive approx.). Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into the hotel and after lunch (own expenses), head out to explore - Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula. The iron suspension bridge of Lakhsman Jhula which is 450 ft long and 70 ft in height from the river, was built in 1939. It is believed that Lakshman (brother of Lord Ram) used a bridge made of jute ropes at the same site to cross the Ganges. The other bridge Ram Jhula which is an iron parallax bridge on the river Ganga, built in 1986, is named after Lord Ram and has a span of 750 ft. The two bridges give excellent panoramic views of Rishikesh city.

Now you will visit Sivananda Ashram (near to Ram jhula) Also you will be seeing Parmarth Niketan Ashram, located just next to the Ganges.
Next, stop at the Beatles ashram of the famous English music band The Beatles from the 1960s. The band members had visited Rishikesh in 1968 to learn transcendental meditation at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram, and this is how Rishikesh came to limelight as the spiritual capital of the world.

Then, halt at Bharat Mandir,You can relax at the steps of the old Rishikund pond and unwind, before heading to Triveni Ghat on the banks of the Ganges to watch the divine evening Maha Aarti ceremony. Triveni ghat is a confluence of three holy rivers - the Ganges, the Yamuna, and the Sarasvati, and is one of the most sacred bathing spots in Rishikesh, believed to wash away all sins and purify the soul. Return to your hotel in Rishikesh for overnight stay.

Day 2: Rishikesh via Haridwar to Delhi
Stop At: Har ki Pauri, Upper Road, Haridwar 249401 India
Early morning wake up for Yoga session of (45 mins) with our professional yoga trainer. After yoga, enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to Haridwar (20 km/40 min approx., by road) for the half day sightseeing.
Haridwar, literally means Gateway to God, lying at the lap of the Himalayan ranges, one of the holiest places to Hindus, the sacred source to the rivers Ganga and the Yamuna, and is the gateway to Char Dham yatra (four pilgrimages) in the state of Uttarakhand.
Your tour starts at Har Ki Pauri on the banks of river Ganges, considered one of the most sacred places along the Ganges, where taking a holy dip means washing away all sins. It is believed that footprints of Lord Vishnu are still present on a stone wall at the ghat. The ghat is also called Brahma Kund and is said to have been built in the 1st century BC by King Vikramaditya in memory of his brother Bhatrihari, who had meditated on the river banks. You can also see explore temples scattered around Har ki Pauri. You will also visit Ma Anandamayi Ashram, dedicated to mystic Sri Ma Anandamayi. The ashram, built in white marble, is a place to find peace and calm. As the tour ends, drive back to Delhi for a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
