About this activity
Your independent private tour begins with your driver picking you up at your hotel or New Delhi IGI airport. Soon after you start your tour, you will receive a call via driver’s mobile phone to ensure that the car and driver are per your expectation. During your entire tour, you can call the customer service via the driver’s mobile phone should you need to.
Your day will start with heading to Qutub Minar, a 239 feet (73m) tapering tower built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak after defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. Then, continue towards Humayun Tomb, the tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun. You will visit to India Gate, a war memorial, that today symbolizes New Delhi nationally and internationally.
Your driver will bring you to a restaurant for your meal at a nearby restaurant (own expense). Get an introduction to Hindu culture at Akshardham, a Hindu temple and spiritual and cultural complex.
Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial for Father of India, Mahatma Gandhi. Your last destination will be Red Fort, the residence of the Mughal emperor of India for nearly 200 years, until 1857. It is located in the center of Delhi and houses a number of museums.

You may stay as long or as little at each stop.
Your driver will drop you back off at your hotel at the end of your tour.

The driver was very accommodating and took us to see what we most wanted to see in the limited time we had. He was patient and kind, even though he had to wait for quite some time while we did our souvenir shopping! That evening I received a phone call from the local provider Mouzam at Ziptrips, who checked to make sure I was satisfied with the service provided. I thought he was being polite, until he informed me he expected to receive a 10/10 review. I hoped he was again just being polite, until I received an email from him saying As informed over the phone please fill the review for us. We are expecting a 10/10 review from you. Being solicited for a good review makes me uncomfortable.
