Great Laddakh Tour

• Day 1 - Arrival In Delhi On arrival in Delhi, you will be Greeted and Escorted by MTA Executive to your Hotel. On arrival at hotel check in. (Room will be available from 1200 Noon) Overnight.
• Day 2: Delhi - visit old delhi the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) and Raj Ghat – In the afternoon visit New Delhi. Drive past President’s Palace, The Parliament and India Gate. Overnight.
• Day 3: Delhi -Leh (Flight) Morning flight to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, situated at 3650 meters above sea level. afternoon free for rest and acclimatization. Overnight.
• Day 4: Leh - Morning visit the Hemis monastery, one of the most important monastery of Laddakh that holds an excellent collection of sacred texts and big Thangka. Later visit Tikshey, important research center for monks. Photo stop at the monastery of Shey. Afternoon visit the Shanti Stupa which offers an excellent view of the valley. Overnight.
• Day 5: Leh-Nubra Valley (150 km – 4 hours) - Transfer to the Nubra valley. Drive through the spectacular step Kardung La situated at 5602 meters above sea level. In the afternoon visit the monastery of Samstaling and, at sunset, enjoy a short walk to the lake Tsochun. Overnight.
• Day 6: Nubra Valley - Leh Excursion to ‘imposing monastery of Diskit and Hunder, through a magical lunar landscape of sand dunes. Afternoon return to Leh. Overnight.
• Day 7: Leh - Pangong Lake ( 160 km – 7 hours ) - Drive to Pangong Lake situated at 14,500 ft of height, Pass through Changla pass 17,350 ft (the third highest motorable road in the world).Walk along the marvellous lake. Night in camp.
• Day 8: Pangong Lake -leh Morning at Leisure, Afternoon Return to Leh, overnight.
• Day 9: Leh -Uleytokpo Morning Transfer to Uleytokpo. Stop at Alchi to visit the beautiful monastery, famous for its frescoes. Afternoon short trek in a picturesque gorge to the mountain village of Mangyu. Overnight.
• Day 10: Uleytokpo – Lamayuru – Kargil (180 km – 5 hours ) - Visit the monastery of Lamayuru, the oldest Gompa of Ladakh which houses the Sacred cave where the great saint Naropa meditated. Back to Uleytokpo through a spectacular landscape. Proceed to Kargil. Arrival and overnight.
• Day 11: Kargil – Srinagar (210 km – 8 hours) - Morning Transfer to Srinagar. along the way, stop at picturesque valley of Sonmarg. Arrival and checkin, overnight.
• Day 12: Srinagar- Morning tour of the city, Visit Friday Mosque. The Mosque of Shah Hamdan and Roza Bagh are considered by some to be the tomb of Jesus. Afternoon trip on “Shikara”, a typical house boat on Dal Lake, through its beautiful canals, Overnight.
• Day 13: Srinagar - Delhi ( Flight) - In the morning, visit the Beautiful Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh. In the afternoon flight to Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Overnight. Day 14: International Departure Morning Transfer to the airport For International Departures.
