This was such a great trip. Our guide was very informative and made sure we saw wildlife. My favorite part were the redneck pandas. If you don't know what they, you have to check them out. This is a must for anyone visiting this area. There is so much more to Louisiana than Bourbon Street.
This tour was so much fun. The tour guide was so hilarious and fun. Had a blast going on the bayou and seeing crocodiles. Even got to hold a miniature one! Was nervous because at pickup there were definitely many people onboard the bus, but they split you into smaller groups upon arrival. Tour was a great choice and the breeze felt amazing as it was 85 degrees in NOLA.
Great time was had by all in this very interesting tour into the bayous a great insight into bayou life and very enjoyable I think it's a must do if your in the New Orleans area
What a brilliant experience! Well worth the ticket price and wished I could have gone straight back out again at the end. The guide/driver/swamp man, whatever you want to call him was absolutely brilliant, loads of knowledge, loads of information and loads of stories and loads of laughs. Great to go skipping over the water in the airboat at speeds but also nice to go slowly where we needed to, to be able to see the wildlife and bayou. On the day we saw a dolphin, snapping turtles, numerous birds including a Bald Eagle and of course the Alligators! When I saw the number of airboats going out with us I thought it would be too busy to enjoy, how wrong I was, saw 1 other boat in the canals and then nothing until we were returning to dock. Well organised and a highly recommended trip, believe me you will want an airboat after this trip!
The Bayou tour via airboat was, in my opinion, the only way to go. We saw many alligators and the travel thru the bayou was beautiful. Our guide was experienced, funny, and an expert in the Bayou. Our transport to and from the bayou , unfortunately, was a low point of our trip. Reminiscent of college lectures where no one speaks and the lecture drones on and on and on.... and on some of our guides personal experiences with the French language not being taught, and on and on and on....
Awesome trip saw lots of gators very funny and knowledgeable pilot
Our guide, Gene, with Tours by Isabelle was excellent. His knowledge of the history of NOLA was great, and he gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. It was worth the extra money to go on a smaller boat, and arrange for pick up at our hotel. Saw several gators and birds in the swamps, and the airboat ride is a thrill.
