3-Hour Tour (Lower Manhattan)
In the sprawling and complicated city of New York, it’s hard to know where to begin. Luckily, on this 3-hour private tour, you can skip the hassle of cobbling together an itinerary and figuring out the maze of subways. Your personal guide, a native New Yorker, has done all the work for you and created a tour of Lower Manhattan’s most exciting spots to check out. After hotel, residential or your chosen pickup location simply sit back in your limo and enjoy the ride. You’ll have the option to get out at most locations to explore and take photos.
Your tour begins in the historic West Village, the original stomping ground of New York's bohemians and now home to some of the city's powerhouse citizens. Fit right in as you travel by limo. Cruise through SoHo’s trendy art galleries and boutiques and TriBeCa, site of the famous film festival, listening to historical and colorful commentary along the way.
At the World Financial Center overlooking the Hudson River, see Ground Zero and the Winter Garden, a stunning 3-story barrel-vaulted glass atrium. Then gaze at the impressive boats at South Street Seaport, a cobblestone dock.
Cross the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the world's first suspension bridges built in 1870, and reach Brooklyn Heights Promenade for one of the most spectacular views of Manhattan's skyline. Admire another forerunner of modern suspension bridges, the Manhattan Bridge, used by over 350,000 commuters each day.
Traffic permitting, drive through Chinatown, home to the largest Chinese population in North America, and adjacent Little Italy, a neighborhood with more than 20 historical landmarks. Learn about their rich history related to US immigration from 1800 to 1965.

Optional 5-Hour Tour (Lower, Upper and Mid-Manhattan)
After covering Lower Manhattan, start at Spuyten Duyvil, or Spouting Devil, at the very top of Manhattan Island, for great views. Then work your way down the city and catch sight of The Cloisters and Dyckman Farmhouse, the city’s only remaining Dutch colonial farmhouse.
In Washington Heights, admire Morris Jumel Mansion, built in 1765, the oldest house in the borough, as your guide explains its role during the American Revolution. Capture sights of Yankee Stadium and Rucker Park, before heading to Columbia University and Morningside Park. Behold the 40-foot-tall (12-meter-tall) bronze sculpture of Peace Fountain at the Gothic-Revival St John the Divine Cathedral.
Travel along 125th Street, the ‘Main Street’ of Harlem, and learn about New York’s jazz history as you drive by the Cotton Club and Duke Ellington’s statue. Perhaps grab a bite at local-favorite Red Rooster, named after a Harlem speakeasy.
Then drive down Museum Mile, a tree-lined stretch along 5th Avenue home to nine world-class museums and stately mansions. In the Upper West Side, admire Lincoln Center and brownstones, iconic New York architecture.
In Midtown, see the Beaux-Arts-style Grand Central Terminal and the Art Deco beauty of the Chrysler Building. Meander through Central Park and see the landscaped Strawberry Fields dedicated to John Lennon, and pass by the zoo and the Alice in Wonderland statue.
During the tour, get a kick out of seeing filming locations used in Seinfeld, Sex in the City, Gossip Girl and Woody Allen movies. Receive tips on hot shopping spots along 5th Avenue and see a great example of American Gothic Revival architecture at St Patrick’s Cathedral.

Very knowledgable tour guide and the way to see New York in some style
Laurie was a great guide, and extremely knowledgeable. She also let us veer from the standard tour by allowing us to stop into a pub I wanted to show my relatives, and then suggested another!. I highly recommend the tour!
Our guide on this tour, Laurie, was great. She was full of information, and really enthusiastic. And it was a great way to see the city. My only quibble is that the limo windows were tinted meaning that until you got out of the limo, you got a slightly darkened view of things.
This was so worth doing! Tony was a fantastic guide who was great fun too! We saw loads, got the chance to take lots of pictures and found out loads of useful stuff. Very swish being in a stretch limo too. We did the tour on our first day and it really helped us get our bearings and decide what we wanted to visit during the rest of our trip. Highly recommended.
This tour was easily one of the best decisions we made on our trip to New York. Our guide Ianto was fantastic! We could not have asked for a better way to be shown the city and he also had great recommendations on where to sight-see and eat. I cannot rate this high enough and encourage anyone to try this tour out as well!
