What a fabulous and fun way to go through the Met! I’ve lived in NYC before and never saw some of these pieces that we saw in the tour. Storytelling brings things to life - and that’s exactly what makes this museum tour so great – the stories. The evening was filled with fascinating stories about the artists, the works, the eras and Michelle (our guide) brilliantly puts it all in modern day terms that we could relate to. Suddenly art that seems old, confusing and pretentious can be understood and we relate to what the artists were going through and thinking. Superb. I would recommend to anyone – unless you are an art snob.

so not worth it the ad was so much more promising i wish i would just have obtained an audioguide and, by the way, this is by no means a PRIVATE tour, as promised it is a poorly organized small group
