Had a nice tour with Rob. Very informative on the history of the properties and what’s to come. He also added some personal stories which made the experience more real for someone who watched the tv rather than being there. The museum is a must to realize and remember.
I thought the guided tour was in the museum. It was an outside tour. Very cold. Not a small group. Hard to hear the guide at times. Some misinformation. I had told the person I purchased tickets from that we had Broadwaytickets that night. I thought the tour was inside the museum with extra time to spend on our own. Wrong,
The tour itself was very moving - the guide appeared to be very knowledgeable. I say appeared because unless one was standing directly in front of her, most of the time we could not hear what she was saying. She wore no microphone and spoke very fast. Apparently the company she works for does not provide them - a big fault! The museum and memorial were a very sobering and moving experience. Being with a smaller group is a definite advantage..
Amanda, the tour guide, did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this tour. Many more hours could have been spent in the museum
The guide was very knowledgably and friendly.
We enjoyed the tour and appreciated all the personal stories from the guide about his own experience as a long time NY resident. We all saw it on Television but hearing the stories we did not see was quite emotional. Made me feel our country is in much better shape than the media would have us believe.
