Nick was a gracious guide. The tour was a great way of getting your bearings on what is where. The view of the Horseshoe falls from where we were seated for our meal was super - the meal itself was ok - the ribs seemed to go down better than the chicken, looking at our companions meals. The boat ride was spectacular - as were the fireworks. Changing the colours of the lights was an experience - and, surprisingly, you can change the colours for both the American and the Horseshoe falls. We had a great evening - we felt the tour was well worth doing and are happy to recommend it to our friends.
The night tours was really nice. The dinner was good, the view from the restaurant was exceptional and the service was fine. The boat wasn't to full and provided good views of the falls at night. Braydon did an excellent job. He got us to each of the locations in a timely manner, was very informative about the area and attractions. The best part of the tour was when we got to tour the lighting control room and change the colors of the lights shining on the falls.
The best tour ever!!! Sorry, Matthew, I said I would use big words describing this review lol! Matthew was an amazing guide. He is so intelligent, intellectual, smart, funny, patient, polite, informative and just all around an amazing person. He kept my 11 year old niece interested and she was quite fond of him. Matthew is a local resident and knows a lot about the area. His timing for everything is impeccable. He picked us up at the hotel with a big smile and a warming welcome. Kept the conversation alive and we did not hear crickets during the vehicle ride (haha). He explained everything very thoroughly; answered all of our questions (dumb or not). He definitely earned his tips. The tour is great! You get to see the falls in the daylight and at night (can't get better than this). First stop was dinner (I eat everything, but because my Mom doesn't eat certain types of meat because of her beliefs, in respect of that I did not eat the ribs-which looked delish!). Overall, dinner was yummy. Had time to wander around Niagara Falls area and then return back to the vehicle-to Matthew. Then we went on our cruise-AMAZING!!!! You do get a little soaked, but if you have your raincover they provide, you will be fine. My niece got a little cold-it started raining and came down pretty hard, towards the end of the cruise-and there was fireworks. For me and my personality, rain, fireworks, night time on the water and Niagara Falls-a recipe for EVERYTHING IS PERFECT IN MY WORLD!!! :) After cruise, we got a treat to go up to the light controls for Niagara Falls. We got to play around with the lights that light up the falls (yup, it was awesome much!). Don't miss out on this dinner and cruise. It is so worth the money and give your guide a nice tip-they do a phenomenal job, I believe. Matthew was super fantastic. I hope he is still there, when I return to visit the Falls in winter. I told him I will find him lol! Not creepy at all-right? hehe! Aside from my big crush on Matthew; your trip can't get any better than this, I promise you. I can't speak for all guides (but, I am sure they almost as good as Matthew), but I doubt they are terrible. I am a skeptical and very picky person, especially, when I pay a lot of money for something, but this was well worth every penny spent. God bless you and your trip.
Our experience was awesome. Our tour guide, Michael, was wonderful. He was very kind, knowledgeable, accommodating and funny. The tour itself was so cool. After a wonderful meal by the Falls, we were able to experience the Hornblower and the Falls at night. The changing lights are awe inspiring. Then watched the fireworks from the boat on the water. The final price of the tour, getting to actually change the colors of the lights on the Falls, was the best part. It is a neat experience that everyone should try!!
We were picked up late because they did not have enough cars. Then they rushed us to the restaurant. By the time we ordered and had our soup and salad it was too late to wait for main course and desert. They packed the food. Rushed us to the boat. Rushed us to the observatory. When I got to the hotel the food was cold and I had to through it out. Very very very bad!!!!
If you are on a intimate date do not use this . They will group you with others and rush you through your food. Assembly-line style .
Meal was surprisingly good for this type of cruise and view during dinner was great. Our GUIDE was extremely knowledgable and personable. After the Boat ride which was incredible we were taken to the Illumination Tower to see how the Niagara Fall colors were managed and then each of us were able to set he colors backed by a certificate to show we did. In addition the group we toured with were very fun people. My only suggestion for improvement is that identifying the time and place for Hotel Pickup came very late despite several calls to ask for details and this caused some angst.
The ride was exceptional and very well organized. The dinner was a complete meal overlooking the falls. Our tour guide was very professional and had answers for any question the was asked of her.
What a great experience! From pick-up to drop-off every thing was well planned. Our tour guide was very well informed, she presented so many
This tour was simply outstanding!!
The tour guide was so informative and so helpful. The Dinner was fantastic. The cruise was good. Lights were not changing as the trip before us. Upon a tour of the lighting system, we discovered a tour of their facility distracted them from the light changes. The starboard side of the boat was facing the falls for a very long time. Not enough room to get good photos. Once the boat turned to go back the port side had very little exposure to the falls. Disappointing but fun to watch the other side snap away. Shore staff was very accommodating for disabled guests. They went above and beyond to help a woman crying trying to get down the long trails to the boat. Perhaps have a better way to accommodate guests who struggle with mobility. This is once in a lifetime for many and the disabled often don't get these experiences because of the logistics. Not a fault by any means....a thought to improve the world for others.
