About this activity
After complimentary pickup from your Nice hotel, your small-group day trip to Eze and Monaco will begin with a scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast. Stop to see the panoramic views over Nice before visiting the medieval village of Eze, perched up high with craft shops and breathtaking views. While in Eze, you'll take a guided tour of a traditional perfumery.
You’ll then leave France and cross the border into Monaco, where your visit to the Old Town of Monte Carlo includes free time to see the palace (open April to October), the changing of the guard, the cathedral and the Cousteau Oceanographic Museum (additional cost).
Continue your tour of Monte Carlo with a lap on the famous roads used for the Formula One Grand Prix. You will then have free time at Casino Square to do some luxury shopping, see the stunning gardens and mega-yachts in the harbor or simply watch beautiful people at play in their favorite haunt.
You'll then take a drive along the spectacular coastline of the Lower Corniche between Nice and Monaco, past tranquil villages, modern marinas and the Villefranche bay and citadel, as you return to your hotel in Nice.
Your minivan is limited to just eight people, ensuring you receive personalized service from your English-speaking guide.

Beautiful places and view but value of having guide is null b/c he leaves you at main attractions. It’s more like a driver who take you from point A and to point B.
Great tour to see Monaco and the medieval village of Eze. Our tour guide, Eva, arrived on time to pick the 4 of us up at the hotel. There were only 8 of us on the tour as expected. Eva stopped at several scenic lookout points for photo opps. It was about a 30 minute van ride to Monaco, which is busy with tourists, but was a must see for us to see how the other half live:). Please note that the tour guide will point out all the attractions you may want to visit, including the Palace (which costs 14 euros/ adult to visit), the changing of the guards away noon, the Oceanographic Museum (which also has an entrance fee), the gardens near the palace and the Prince's car museum. We were given about 2 hours on our own, which was plenty of time to take the Palace tour , which took 1 hour, watch the changing of the guards, which takes about 10 minutes, leisurely roam the gardens and take tons of pictures with the amazing views from that vantage point. Another couple on our tour was able to squeeze in the car museum as well. Eze is a charming medieval town, but does require a bit of walking up hill on stone steps, which wasn't a problem, but just something to note. The shops are literally in small, charming caves along th ge paths. Again, the tour guide gave us free time to explore the village. We didn't do the perfume factor tour as the other 2 couples had already done one and my daughters had no desire to do it. Apparently, it's a short tour that ends in the perfume store. The store, however, is worth visiting due to its enormous selection of perfumes and soaps. We realized that we couldn't find the same items back in Nice. An extra photo stop on the way back to Nice was included since we had extra time. Would recommend this tour, but wondered afterwards if just finding a cheaper option to get us to these towns would have sufficed due to all the free time we had. Book this tour if you're like me and don't want to have to stress about the details while you're enjoying your vacation!
The tour was great had enough time for each stop we made. There were 4 stops in a 8 hour tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.
Absolutely loved this tour. Only thing would have liked a little more time in Eze...but understand on a schedule. Guide was fun and informative. Perfume stop and Monaco also great stops. Liked the mix of guided tour and time on our own to explore.
Our group of 8 enjoyed a relaxing private tour of Monaco first, the best part was the old town with every turn a travellers delight with lots of small alleyways for shopping, wandering and refreshments. The aquarium is certainly worth a visit. It was very hot the day we went so a short walk around the casino up town (you can go into the foyer and have a look around and you have to pay to go right into the casino). Take note of all the amazing cars parked outside. Next was the old town of Eze with a tour through the famous perfume factory. Eze is at the top of a mountain, very steep climb through very small alleyways with every turn an amazing revelation, small easy to climb steps but as a very hot day took its toll on us all. Lots and lots of hidden treasures to discover in this very ancient pretty town. Great day had by all.
Wonderful day despite some of the challenging windy weather. Our guide showed us around and then gave us considerable time on our own to look around and explore. Eze was a wonderful hill top village with much to see and enjoy. Then we got a chance to have wonderful views of Monaco which remain with us. Monte Carlo was good to have seen and I only lost 5 euros , but we were glad that more time was spent in Monaco. Our guide was a great navigator and fun to be with.
Our tour guide,Victor was very knowledgeable and provided lots of useful information. Nice an professional. The trip was great, worth taking this tour ! Thank you !
great way to see a lot. Adrienne our guide was amazing and made it enjoyable
Very nice transport, accompanied by a pleasant driver. Everything else is what you do and organize yourself.
The trip was decent. Tour guide was knowledgeable about random historian facts on the drive to a Eze and Monaco. However, big discrepancy in time in Monaco from where they drop you off on the first stop where the kings palace was (3.5 hours) vs the actual country or Monaco down the hill which they only allocate (45 min) for. Not enough time to do anything- would have loved a more even time share to accommodate interests of all customers.
Very recommended trip, great views, time to go around, good driver and his explanations. Very professional.
