We had enoug time to visit all the space centre. The visit was very interesting and informative - you need a good knowledge of English to understand everything.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Kennedy Space Center. The Dolphin Tour company excursion, led by Bob and Stuart, was professional and informative. Their suggested time schedule for the center was accurate and helpful. When I called the day before to get the specifics for our pick up point, the receptionist was helpful and directed us to a point with free parking instead of the one assigned. The van was a bit early, so glad we were there ahead of time as well. Note that if you are staying at a Disney property (Swan and Dolphin are NOT part of the WDW resort network) you will have to use or get your own transportation to the pick up point.
Absolutely amazing! Should not miss! Once in a lifetime experience! Brought me to tears! My 9 year old daughter LOVED it!!! Stuart, the driver and guide gave us a wonderful suggested itinerary!!! Make sure NOT to be late or you will not be allowed into events once they start. Discipline is key here.
The visit to the Kennedy Space Center was excellent and well worth it. Getting there early was important to have time to explore many of the interesting sites and displays. Transportation was arranged with City Sightseeing Orlando with a comfortable and informative trip to the Center but on the return trip we were transferred to a smaller commuter van for the last two stops with a second driver whose driving, to put it mildly, was aggressive and in a manner dangerous to us as passengers and other road users. As a result we would not recommend using this company for transportation.
Myself and my 8 year old son thoroughly enjoyed a full day at Kennedy Space Centre. The transport was professional and efficient and we made great use of their (Stuarts) suggested itinerary to maximize our time.
The facility at Kennedy Space Center is excellent with lots to see and do. Very hot day for our visit but plenty of cool areas to visit and cooling mists provided when waiting for buses to the Saturn V display. Bus ride to and from Orlando provided by Dolphin Tours. Trip over was good but final ride home was performed by an angry driver frequently exceeding the speed limits with poor and dangerous driving skills that was due I believe to minimal tips received by the touring group.
The trip was great! Our tour guide bill gave a thoughtful narration on the bus ride over to KSC on the history of US space program including elements of science and engineering. He provided a suggested itinerary of the many options to see at KSC that maximized what we could see in the time available. Kent did a great job driving the bus. Only problem took two hours to get back to hotel, mainly because of Orlando traffic between 5-7:30pm.
The Kennedy Space Center tour did not start off well with the bus being thirty minutes late in picking my family up. When I called about ten minutes past the arranged time the women I spoke to knew right away that the bus was running late, which made me wonder why we weren’t contacted if it was already known that the driver, Stuart, had been running behind since the early morning. Things were looking up when we stopped and were given the chance to see a shuttle launch before making our way to the space center. Shortly before arrival, Stuart felt the need to discuss the process of tipping with everyone on the bus. I understand that it might need to be mentioned briefly, but he went into the cultural expectantly behind tips and the percentage that would be the “appropriate” amount. The lines at entry were long and with our late arrival we were told that the guided tour of the Atlantis building would not be happening, despite being in the inclusions of the tour booking. My family and I had a wonderful time exploring the Kennedy Space Center on our own and had used parts of the suggested itinerary given to us. We were told to try and be back on the bus between 5-5:15 in order to make sure we didn’t arrive back at the drop off points to late, only to not depart the space center until 5:45. The route Stuart took back went far past our drop off point, which confused us since we were among the last picked up and believed we would be among the first dropped off if the same route was to be used. We were not dropped off until after 8:00 and it is needless to say that we were not pleased with Florida Dolphin Tours.
THIS IS FOR FLORIDA DOLPHIN TOURS. If I could give this company a 0 I would. Do not take Florida dolphin tours. My mother and I booked this company to go to Kennedy space center On Sept 10th. However we never made it there because the bus driver never strapped my mothers motorize scooter in and when she took a hard left turn my mother and the scooter flipped over on the right size. My mother was rushed to the hospital. The lady did not even know how to put the ramp down on the bus so my mother could get on and off. The bus driver needed help from another passenger on the bus to help her put it down. This bus is not handicap accessible. We called the day before to confirm that this bus was handicap accessible and the lady on the phone said YES all our buses are handicap accessible. And we were not told on the phone that we were going to be switching two different buses. Your bus drivers and your customer service needs to be talked to or better yet close this company.
There lots to see worth the money and fun for the kids
I went to this attraction alone. Felt safe, made wonderful friends and had a great time! Enjoyed the day, the history. It was great to have comfortable transportation at the end of a long day.
Great job by all from where we parked our car to the guided tour starting with bus transportation to the all day tours at Kennedy to the Lunch with an Astronaut and ride back. Skilled and friendly drivers and tour guides. Fantastic memories for our children and grandchildren.
Brilliant day. Great tour guide on bus pointing out alligators. Loved my time in the space centre, of the shuttle era so to see one was quite emotional. Whole visit was fantastic. Highly recommend
