Our first stop is at the Miraflores Visitor Center of the Panama Canal.

The visitor center comprises of 3 main areas:

Video Presentation of 10 minutes with complete information of the Canal

3 floors of exhibitions (History, technology and 1 simulator)

Upper terrace where you can see the live action of the transit of the ships in their passage through the locks

Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Ancon Hill, Quarry Heights, Panama City Panama

This is a panoramic walk through the slopes of Ancón hill.

This was a US military base and we can appreciate the old homes of important officers of the American Army.

Sometimes, we can enjoy the passage of wild animals such as the sloth, the white-tailed deer or birds like the Toucan among many other beauties of nature.

The Military History of this area is fascinating.

Stop At: Amador Causeway (Calzada de Amador), Av Amador, Panama City Panama

This is the perfect place to cool off with the cool breeze of the Pacific Ocean, take the best pictures of the city from the sea and enjoy a delicious homemade ice cream or an exquisite ceviche offered by the restaurants of the place.

If you love shopping, you can go crazy with the products offered by the Duty Free Amphora. You must carry identification to enter.

Stop At: Casco Viejo, Avenida Central, Panama City Panama

This is the time to walk the narrow streets of the colonial city of San Felipe.

Here we will walk for 1 hour through the Walls of the Old City, visit the most representative churches of the area and buy the best crafts of the best quality offered by this site.

If you are a lover of good coffee ... We can take you to taste the Geisha Coffee ... considered the best coffee in the world.

This was indeed an enjoyable afternoon. Rafael is very thoughtful of his guests. He communicated with me before the trip and made sure everything was organised. When he knew that I had gone to Casco Viejo the day before he suggested a re-organisation of the tour to give me an opportunity to see other parts of the city. He was very knowledgeable of the city and its history and gave me great information during the tour of the Panama canal. I can't say enough about how polite and respectful he is and how much I enjoyed his company. Without hesitation I would highly recommend this and any other tour that Rafael offers.
