Immersion among Embera

Difficult not to give in to the temptation to discover the Embera, native Indian people of Central America (Panama and Colombia), this community established first in the Darien, the region of the Gamboa forest and on the shores of the lake Gatun.

The culture, the traditions are preserved intact and you dive into a different world with wooden buildings and coconut trees, large huts for gatherings and colorful craftsmanship that gives the impression of a happy people of its history too .

After 45 minutes drive from your hotel, you embark on a traditional boat (a pirogue) to reach the jungle and the small village where your hosts are waiting for you to welcome you with traditional dances and the desire to share an excellent moment.

You visit the village with history, all surrounded by exuberant nature and with animals that do not seem afraid to cross us: toucan, monkeys. After a tasty local meal in the kitchens of the village, a game of fishing or swimming at the waterfalls is planned, and finally introduction to traditional dances. You will learn to dance in the big hut to share a little more Embera culture.
