Travel to the village of Papetoai which was the seat of the Pomare I government (when he conquered the island in 1790) and the scene of his conversion to Christianity. The Pomares were simply one of the most important families on the island.
Continue to the tomb of the first missionaries which is located nearby. A stop will be made at the commercial center of Haapiti for some great shopping opportunities.

In general we can say that in all Polynesian Island we have the same feeling and we do really enjoy the tour in this island, beautiful2 , but we do not expect such high humidity and temperature, perhaps we shall find the right time to return up there. all facilities is adequate in such place and we can feel the real atmosphere and local situation, very clean, the nice and disiplin of Polynesian to keep the island clean and harmony.
