Good overview of the history, streets, and legends of Montmarte area. Our group was a little larger than I expected (20ish) but the guide was good at keeping us all together. Be prepared for uphill walking most of the way. Plenty of rest stops for tour updates. Take your own water and toilet breaks prior.
Our guide Nancy was just the best. She was knowledgeable and passionate about Montmatre and the history and happenings. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
Such a great way to get oriented to Montmartre and see where artists like Utrillo and Toulouse-Lautrec lived and worked. Our guide was a lively speaker and enthusiastic local, pointing out views, houses, vineyards, cabarets and oddities as we meandered up the hills. It's cobblestone streets and some steep climbs at points but worth it for those with comfortable shoes and a desire to see this charming, historic neighborhood firsthand.
this was a great tour! the tour guide was fabulous! I would highly recommend this tour!
