About this activity
Choose the class time to suit your schedule, then head to the cookery school in central Paris to begin your croissant class. The humble croissant is a pastry popular across the whole country, but learning how to bake a perfect batch every time requires practise and a little inside knowledge.
Follow step-by-step instructions and learn how to make fluffy croissant dough from beginning to end. With hands-on guidance from your instructor, master the art of the fold and discover how to get great results every time. Then, pop your croissants in the oven and watch them slowly rise. During your class you’ll also make pain au chocolat — a sweet pastry roll with chocolate filling.
After roughly two hours, when the baking is done, take your fresh pastries out of the oven and enjoy them with a cup of tea, coffee or juice. When you're finished, bid your instructor goodbye and receive a box of your creations to share with friends and family along with an electronic copy of the recipes in English.

The Chef was amazing. . .experienced, knowledgeable, patient and with a wonderful sense of humor. The end result of the four hour class was wanting more time with this talented Chef. The Croissants we made were delicious! AND at the end of the class the six students had tea, coffee, juice and Croissants. YUM! PLUS we received a copy of the recipe and a box of Croissants.
The cooking class was excellent. Hugo was very interactive and very knowledgeable. Plus the croissants that you got to take home were delicious.
This class was great! Do yourself a favor and take this class.
Such an enjoyable experience! Amanda was delightful- she engaged everyone in the process and the class was well-paced. Lovely venue. I felt like I really accomplished something and had fun doing it- I would definitely recommend!
This was the best! Amanda was friendly, informative and so pleasant we could have stayed in her kitchen all day. The croissant making process is much longer than I ever assumed but this class went so fast and was so enjoyable I would recommend it to everyone. Very hands on and the croissants were delicious. If I ever get back to Paris I would definitely take another one of her classes.
Nice time but a bit costly.
le foodist....we arrived a bit early and waited outside to accomadate the the dinner class that was finishing there program...not a problem...we took a few photos and as the party exited we either spoke to them of where they were from or how much they enjoyed the activity . We were pleasantly invited inside and they appologized for having the remnants of the previous party still in our entrance area we were escorted to an area for a short wait and some conversation...very pleasant clean and fresh basement area again greeted and escorted to a kitchen area and given space to accomadate our outer ware then aprons were handed out for our baking experience. Amanda greeted us and we proceeded through the process , with a break for coffee or water and were offered a bit of wine that was delish...I will say that Fred and Amanda owners/operators as well as the other staff members were very kind , helpful friendly in all aspects of our stay and the program and the croissants were also delish our take home box..we used through our remaining days for breakfast with great Paris coffee. We look forward to returning home and making our own Paris style croissants...mmmmm. I/We would recommend Le foodist for all there activities...ps cabies just a short block and 1/2 on the left side of the main intersection...loved it ..viva la France...again thank you Fred and Amanda.........fred and karen
