- Admission to the Château de Fontainebleau is free on the first Sunday of each month (except in July and August).
- Please note that admission to the Château de Fontainebleau is free for visitors under the age of 18 as well as for 18-25 year-old residents of the European Economic Area (EU, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein).
- Free cloakrooms and lockers are available for the storage of strollers, bulky bags, coats, and umbrellas.
- Strollers and backpack-style baby carriers are not permitted on the château tour routes.
- Forward-facing baby carriers are available from the cloakrooms. However, during very busy periods, access to the château with such items may be restricted.
- A lift is available to convey those with limited mobility to the Grand Apartments.
