About this activity
Visit: Sainte-Chapelle, 8 Boulevard du Palais, 75001 Paris France
Get to see this newly restored, beautiful and quite intimate chapel from the 13th century, admire its mesmerizing stained glass windows.
Built in seven years, an impressive feat, the Sainte Chapelle was intended to house precious Christian relics, including Christ's crown of thorns, acquired by Saint Louis. Having these sacred relics in his possession made the already powerful monarch head of western Christianity.
Adorned with a unique collection of fifteen glass panels and a large rose window forming a veritable wall of light, the Sainte-Chapelle is a gem of French Gothic architecture. Arranged across 15 windows, each 15 metres high, the stained glass panes depict 1,113 scenes from the Old and New Testaments recounting the history of the world until the arrival of the relics in Paris.
Please note:
• Free admission: 18-25 years old (EU nationals and regularised EU residents)
• Unaccompanied tour with guide booklet available in: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Polish
• Due to the "Vigipirate Plan", luggage larger than 55x35x20 will not be accepted inside the monuments.
• Security checks are taking place: Sharp, dangerous items or motorcycle helmet are not permitted inside the monument.

The stained glass windows are truely amazing, have not seen anything quite like it. Our Guide Daniel guide gave informative and relevant information. Take the time to do the tour - you will not be disappointed.
This is a must see. We went early, just after opening time. A good time to go. By the time we finished it was crowded. An incredible place that has so much beauty. Loved it.
We went at 9am, which was wonderful as there were very few people. Simply stunning chapel of intricate stained glass!! Easy tour, well worth it.
We had a job to find this, but it was worth the looking. Lovely old church. I just loved the old churches.
Beautiful church. The windows and story behind them are amazing. It’s a small area to view and a quick visit. We didn’t need fast passes, but it was worth it for the security of knowing we’d miss a long line if there happened to be one.
If you are interested in stain glass then you must visit St Chapelle. We spent over an hour just taki g in the intricacies of the over 100 window panes.
Such a beautiful church. Nice to pass the line and get in faster. Certainly easier then waiting in a long que
We truly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful and historic church. The stained glass windows were most impressive.
Fantastic
Sainte Chapelle was lovely, but not sure you need skip the line access at this attraction.
Totally worth it. The line for this attraction was hours long.
WASTE of money - there was no line. We walk in with everyone else. Entire visit was 10 mins.
It was wonderful that we had skip the line tickets. We were able to walk right in while there was a very long line of others wanting in standing in the sun. This is not a guided tour but a look on your own. There are informational cards in a variety of languages available to view or audio tours for purchase. The stained glass is amazing.
Skip the Line was the way to go! Gorgeous church.
