The tour is great and worked well with ferry and bike rental. There was a pick up available, but it doesn't determine the pick up time correctly. In my case the ferry left Perth for Rottnest Island at 8:45 and pick up was confirmed for the same time. Had I waited for it, I would have missed the tour. Maybe someone can look into it.
If you are planning to complete a round cycling of Rottnest Island, make sure your family are fit for that because you will need to cycle around the up and down hill with a distance of more than 10km. Obviously these 2 conditions didn't suit young children. I just did a short distant ride withcthe objective to find wild quokkas. We were lucky because it was easy to locate them as there was plenty of them. they are just everywhere. Everything was according to my expectation except the wheather. It was raining, but we still managed to enjoy the trip. View also very nice and I love it so much.
beautiful weather, awesome scenery and quokkas, what more can you ask for. Had a great day exploring the island by bike and saw plenty of quokkas.
Fantastic place with breathtaking sights. The snorkelling is excellent and the wildlife is wonderful. Enjoyed every minIt’s of it and the Quokkas are lovely.
Rottness is a beautiful island and by having the bikes we were able to find a stunning empty beach . It was a great way to spend a birthday, and plenty of quokkas came out to say hello . I would highly recommend a trip to Rottness if you are visiting Perth or Freemantle .
We arrived a little late at the ferry terminal and the counter staff graciously put us on the next ferry - ferries to Rottnest Island run hourly from 7.30 to 11.30 but do go earlier than your booking time as they leave quite promptly. We collected our bikes upon arriving at the island and had no issues with the rental equipment throughout. Renting a bike to explore the island was definitely the best option - don't forget to get a map so you know which way to go.
Making reservation with Viator is convenient since the ferryservice is crowded. Everydish was realy nice at the buffet restaurant reserved.
Nice place to visit if you have the time whilst in Perth. If you want to explore the island you will need a more of transport so the bikes are perfect. The bikes are far from good but they serve a purpose and get you around the island.
Great service and location.
