Franklin's Footsteps was a fantastic walking tour of historic Philadelphia. The guide was amazing. It was raining and my wife and I were the only two for the tour. Most would have cancelled, but not this man. He carried on and even though we were the only two he gave us the best waling tour we have ever had. He made history come alive. I highly recommend this tour.
the tour was very nice and complete, the tour guide for the franklin footsteps was very nice, lots of knowledge, very enthusiastic, the eastern state was interesting, only problems we had was that the person that printed our ticket, when we gave him the vouchers, did not included the entrance to the penintentiary and i had to call the agency that was our local contact there, so they will call and tell them to let us in, so keep this in mind to check your receipt and make sure all the tours you have purchased are shown in the receipt, also, the last day on saturday, the last bus that picked us up at the Rocky statue, was old, had no A.C and I sat in the back seat and it was burning in the bottom, in the metal part below the seat, this bus should be taken out of operation, and also sometimes, buses took longer to pass by the stops than what they said,
We had a wonderful time! The bus tour was so informative. They make frequent stops and let you know what each stop is like. We did not get a chance to do Franklin's Footsteps, but plan on going back for the tour. The Eastern State Penitentiary was fantastic. You take a guided audio tour so you can take your time.
